Rowan Leaf Records
Established in 2010, Rowan Leaf Records is an independent record label based in South East England specialising in contemporary acoustic, folk and folk-rock music.

Releases on Rowan Leaf Records:

2011:

“Penhayl” - Anthea Neads & Andy Prince

Laid-back folk-rock, reminiscent of
a mixture of 1960s pastoral English psychedelia
and the San Franciscan summer of love scene...

Ex-Sham 69 bass player Andy Prince crafts
uniquely beautiful and lyrical bass lines, while
Anthea Neads provides strong and feminine
vocals and subtle guitar parts. Together, they
evoke the musical territory mapped out by such
visionary bands as Fairport Convention,
Jefferson Airplane and Pentangle.

2010:

“Jars of Clay” - Anthea Neads

“Stylistically eclectic, the arrangements range
from the folksy pop of the opener Bright New
Dawn to the swirling carnival ride of
Roundabouts, the gospel-tinged title song Jars
of Clay to the bluesy Simple Pleasures, but each
one maintaining Anthea's gentle vocal
throughout... Anthea Neads presents a touching
personal diary from which we are invited to read,
without feeling too intrusive. A delightful debut”
